Supporting range of organisations across the region with access to funding opportunities and the provision of training and ongoing support.

Yorkshire Mentoring aims to promote the benefits of mentoring to individuals, private, public and voluntary organisations, by the development of mentoring related support networks and maximise the participation of mentors by developing quality mentoring standards across a range of projects in Yorkshire, and to ensure that individuals, community and voluntary organisations provide the best possible mentor support, through guidance & advice
Our History
Yorkshire Mentoring is a Community Interest Company which started in 2008.
A small number of volunteer managers from across a range of local authority, education and the third sector backgrounds in the region began to meet, as a means of offering support and to exchange good practice and new ideas in a forum setting.
As a result of the forum meetings, founding members identified that there was the need for a consultancy type
support that was missing for organisations in the development of volunteer and mentoring projects across the
Yorkshire Region.
